About Tech Teens

A Non-Profit Initiative with a Purpose

Tech Teens was established to empower teenagers aged 16-19 through practical skills training.  We provide hands-on experience in repairing small electrical appliances and computer consoles.  Our program not only helps teens learn valuable skills but also contributes to environmental sustainability by reducing electronic waste.  Every repair helps fund our scheme or is donated to those in need.

We try and teach the young adults how tech works, how it can be repaired and given a new lease of life. We also try to teach them basic business skills from converting a broken product into a working product that can be sold to provide somebody with an affordable electrical product/Console that has been fully refurbished. Allowing the teenager to feel a sense of pride and achievement whilst also earning a bit of money. We try to teach them basic life skills and how to manage money, saving and the value of money going forward in their adult lives. We also help with CV writing, applying for jobs, and mock interviews to help ease nerves ready for their step into adulthood.

Work experience that is enjoyable and can help motivate a teenager.
